Simon Holzapfel has been working with high net worth families since the mid-1990s. After a career in independent schools as a teacher, Academic Director, and Head of School, Simon founded Crow Box Partners at the request of a family looking for integrated financial education and entrepreneurship training. Simon uses his experience as a thought leader, innovator, and expert practitioner in learning design, curriculum planning, and group dynamics to help his clients improve their ability to think well, own well, and live well. His experience on the New York State Association of Independent Schools' Commission on Accreditation and as an Executive Board member of the Boston University Agile Innovation Lab has allowed him to combine best practices in education and governance to create practical improvements for his clients' family governance processes and maintenance. Simon holds a BA from Carleton College in History and an MA from UMASS/Amherst in History.
