Kim has an extensive background working with children in a variety of settings. She worked as a Counselor at a Therapeutic Boarding School for girls in Bend, Oregon. She spent 13 years working with individuals with developmental disabilities which included partnership with local school districts to ensure ease of transition from student IEPs into adulthood. She also locally facilitated a pre-school age library program. Kim loves teaching the importance of land stewardship and gardening. In her free time, Kim owns and runs a cut flower farm and enjoys spending time with her animals and family outdoors.
