With a focus on Political Economy, Media, and Cultural Studies, Najwa received her interdisciplinary B.A. from UMass Amherst. She returned to the UMass School of Education after being accepted into their Secondary Teacher Education Program and has begun working towards her M.Ed. As part of the MSB parent community, Najwa and her partner Gabby are delighted to watch their child Mo thrive in the Montessori classroom. Najwa has a life-long love of language and international travel, and enjoys writing, rollerskating, cooking, and taking walks in the woods. At home, you'll find her making egg rolls and playing board games with her family.
