An interesting piece of work, freely chosen, which has the virtue of inducing concentration rather than fatigue, adds to the child's energies and mental capacities, and leads him to self-mastery. . . . Our mornings have been just sublime recently. Even today, amidst the April Fool’s Day frenetic energy, the students found a state of happy, calm, satisfied engagement. I savor this. I savor this all the more knowing that after next week, we will begin to pack up our classroom and ready ourselves for the move to our new campus.
