Each day will include activities that promote education in a relaxed and joyous environment. Morning activities will focus on hands-on projects, artwork, cooking, music, and movement. Outdoor play and explorations are also incorporated into each morning. Morning snack time is available, Montessori-style, and lunchtime is at noon. Afternoons include outdoor and water play, as well as stories, games, and additional projects. A rest time is provided for children under five.

CH 1: Glorious Garden Artists (June 25–July 6)

Come share garden secrets, garden stories and garden projects, as we sing, sprout seeds, read about all things "green," and take nature hikes into fields and forests of our campus. We'll be painting, printing, and making some very beautiful garden art. There will be lots to do, so grab your smock and sunscreen, and come play in the garden with us! Closed July 4. Head Teacher: Bonny Flower

CH 2: Think it, Draw it, Build it, Race it! (July 9–20)

Want to make something? This class will utilize both natural and manufactured materials, outdoor and indoor environments, to plan, create and test all sorts of wild inventions and artworks. Expect messy clothes, inky fingers and lots of fun! Head Teacher: Joey Chernila

CH 3: Sensory Science, Art, & Nature (July 23–Aug. 3)

Come explore and learn about animal homes, trees, clouds, and other fun wonders of nature. We will engage all our senses, through hands-on outdoor exploration, movement and games, experiments, storytelling, and more. We’ll also get creative with paintings, sculptures, drawings, crafts, and other projects related to our discoveries. Head Teacher: April Smith

CH 4: Explore the Woods (Aug. 6–17)

Come ready to tromp through the woods, discover places to climb hills and trees, play games of hide and seek, and hunt for signs of wildlife and natural treasures. We’ll build forts, make crafts from natural objects, learn new songs, and find ways to keep cool under the canopy of the forest. Head Teacher: Rose Bohmann

EL 1: Homesteading Pioneers (June 25–29)

Like homesteaders of the past, we’ll use materials at hand to cook and get creative. Gathering from woods and meadow, we’ll use nature-based art projects to learn about plants and animals, and also dive into larger projects like making paper, binding books, gardening, and trail building. Head Teacher: Bridgette Moore

EL 2: Passport Around the World (July 2–6)

Get your suitcase and passport ready! Become a world traveler and visit a different country each day of the week. Learn about music, culture, dress and daily life of native peoples and try foods from exotic new places each day! Closed July 4. Head Teacher: Julie Haagenson

EL 3: Berkshire Wildlife Safari (July 9-13)

Our forty acres of woods, fields, streams and wetlands will become our safari site as we explore animal tracks, tree rubbings, wetlands, as well as search up in trees and under rocks and logs. Led by a Mass Audubon Field Guide, the week will be spent outside for exploration, fun and games! Head Teacher: Andrea Goodman

EL 4: Fitness Fun! (July 16–20)

Learn about the Four Components of Fitness, while having a blast! We’ll play games for muscular strength, hop through aerobic and anaerobic activities, and relax into the proper way to stretch. By the end of the session you’ll have all the tools you need to turn your back yard into a fitness facility! Head Teacher: Leigh Minor

EL 5: Zig Zag (July 23–27)

With expertise from Berkshire Fabrications, show your creative side through the sewing machine! Transform old jeans, shirts, fabrics, buttons, and trims to make an original tote, travel pouch, apron, and more. Surprise a friend or someone in your family with your creation. Head Teacher: Jan Charbonneau

EL 6:  (July 30–Aug. 3) Description available soon.

EL 7: Creative Expression (Aug. 6–10)

If you’d like to enhance your artistic skills and creative confidence, join us for a week of artistic expression. We’ll be using skills and techniques from Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, and tapping into our individual and collective creative interests. Head Teacher: Aaron Eliassen

EL 8: LEGO Robotics & More! (Aug. 13–17)

Calling all LEGO fanatics! This is your week to dream and build.
