The Parent Group is an energized, effective and accomplished group of parents: it’s you. Every parent with a child attending The Montessori School of the Berkshires is a member of the Parent Group, whether or not they attend meetings. The Parents’ Group exists to foster community among parents and to help parents channel their support for the school and its teachers. The Parent Group plans and carries out fundraising events, helps with school activities, provides volunteers when necessary, and assists the students and school as needed.
The Parent Group provides support for the MSB community in a number of ways:
Guidance for the Parent Group is provided by the Leadership Council – a passionate and committed group who have stepped forward to take a leadership role in ensuring that the Parent Group’s purpose is achieved throughout the school year. They are assisted by Core Leaders in the School Support, Enrichment, and Events teams who carry out specific programming, activities and events.
