The Montessori School of the Berkshires seeks a student body diverse in interests, talents, race, ethnicity, and economic background and is committed to making the school accessible to all qualified students. Our Commitment

We adhere to the principle that the primary responsibility for funding a student’s education lies with the family. We understand that each family has different financial means and therefore will pay a different percentage toward the full cost of educating a child at MSB. We will work with all families to ensure a fair and sustainable tuition model that holds true to our mission for dynamic, inclusive, and engaged MSB community.

Tuition Rate

In order to determine your tuition rate, MSB uses a program called Clarity. Clarity will collect your financial information to verify then make a recommendation to MSB. The Clarity Financial Application is due by February 15 for the upcoming school year. Your tuition rate does not determine your child’s acceptance into the school as enrollment management has many facets and requires many determining factors. Use the button below to access Clarity.

Your Commitment

Finding the right school is an investment in your child’s future. To complement financial responsibility, all current families are encouraged to attend school celebrations and events, participate through volunteerism and fundraisers, and contribute to the Annual Fund to the best of their ability.

Fees and Payment Options

Some families pay added fees for bus service, extended day coverage, and after school activities. Additional services can be included in the annual payment plan or billed separately in certain circumstances. Tuition may be paid bi-annually, or in ten monthly installments beginning in July, with a $5 per month billing fee. Tuition may be paid in full by August 1 for no additional fee, and a 3% discount.
