Cara Davis is retired from her position as Executive Director of Construct, Inc., a south county organization that serves persons who are unhoused and unstably housed. She is an ordained minister with the United Church of Christ (Congregational) and currently serves as the moderator of the Berkshire Association, UCC. From time to time she takes short-term, part-time bridge ministries at local UCC churches in transition. She is also a board member of Cathedral of the Beloved, a 'church without walls' in Pittsfield. Since retiring, she has served on the board of the South County Community Development Corporation, volunteered at the South Community Food Program, and served on the Great Barrington Affordable Housing Committee. Originally from Aurora, Ohio Cara has lived in the Berkshires since 1971. Her three children attended Montessori nursery programs in Great Barrington, and six of her seven grandchildren go to or have graduated from Montessori schools – four at MSB and two out in Boulder, CO.
