Lawrence Brooks is a Senior Accountant with New York State, bringing a well-rounded background in for-profit, nonprofit, and government accounting. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Siena College, a private Franciscan institution known for its strong business and liberal arts programs. Over the course of his career, Lawrence has supported organizations of all sizes with budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls. He also co-founded a consulting business focused on helping small businesses and sole proprietors manage their financial operations more effectively. Outside of his professional work, Lawrence loves spending time outdoors, especially fishing and kayaking.
