Anu is originally from Sri Lanka and now lives in the Berkshires with her husband and their two children. She holds an AMI Montessori Teacher Training Certificate, as well as a Diploma in Early Childhood and Preschool Education and a Diploma in Early Child Growth and Development from Berkshire Community College.

She has more than 20 years of experience working with young children, including 18 years of teaching in Sri Lanka and 3 years in the United States. She is passionate about creating a warm, caring, and supportive environment where children feel respected, confident, and excited to learn.

She speaks four languages and is currently learning Spanish. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys Sri Lankan and Indian traditional dancing, hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
