Cindy is a native New Yorker and hails from right over the border in Nassau, NY.  Cindy has a M.Ed with a Montessori Emphasis, a B.A. in Psychology, and an Elementary Education credential from the American Montessori Society.  Cindy has taught on the elementary level for over 20 years; much of her experience leading an upper elementary class. When Cindy isn’t in the classroom, you can find her hiking in the Adirondacks and Catskills. Cindy is an avid photographer who rarely leaves home without her camera in tow. She is also a Certified Zentangle Artist and has taught children and adults this mindful and meditative artform for many years.  Cindy has two grown daughters who were raised within a Montessori community.
