Adolescent Experience Lead Guide

Todd Covert image

In 2014, after spending 25 years in the video production industry, Richard decided to shift gears and study to become an AMI Certified Montessori Adolescent guide, in Gothenburg, Sweden. After completing the course Richard found opportunities to gain experience in Argentina and then Puerto Rico where he, and his wife Veronica, renovated and opened their own Montessori school. Richard brings with him years of agricultural experience having worked on a small farm while completing the El Josco Bravo agricultural course in Puerto Rico. Whether it be sowing tomato seeds under grow lights in the basement in the winter, planting kale in the spring, deadheading marigolds in the summer, or planting garlic in the fall, you can usually find Rich involved in some type of activity regarding plants. Aside from gardening Rich likes to bake bread, visit minor league ballparks and drive with the top down whenever possible.
