Verónica holds AMI diplomas for 0-3 and 3-6 from the Montessori Institute of San Diego under the tutelage of Dr. Silvia Dubovoy; she is a Full Spectrum Doula, translator and storyteller who recently moved to the Berkshires from her hometown in Puerto Rico. After working in Montessori schools for 15 years in Massachusetts and Argentina, Verónica returned to her hometown in 2017 to support community transformations through art, ecology and stories using Montessori principles as a compass. For 8 years she lead the creation of self-learning prepared environments in rural settings that served families with children, and older women in her community. She also worked as a Montessori philosophy and methodology course facilitator and teacher mentor for the Montessori Public Schools initiative in the island. Verónica has an MA in Humanities, and currently she is writing her Thesis on Mythology and Children towards a PhD in Caribbean Literature. During the Pandemic years, Verónica visited MSB as a consultant for the Toddler level. In March 2025 she joined the school community as a Lead Teacher and First Plane liaison.
